Method:

  1. Wash your tomatoes, capsicum and onions with running water, slice them into round shapes and keep them aside.
  2. Before boiling the potatoes, wash them first. Then prick them at random places with a fork all over. Take a microwave safe plate and microwave them for good 5 minutes. After this, peel them using the fork and the hands and mash them properly. Add corn flour and mix them gently. This will act as a binding agent and will help us while frying our cutlets.
  3. Now take these mashed potatoes and make a thin layer of it in a round shape like a small cutlet or croquette. Add a layer of processed cheese /cheddar cheese on it. Next, make another layer of the mashed potatoes and keep it on the top thereby enclosing the cheese inside it. Press the sides gently.
  4. Take a non-stick pan and add 2-3 tablespoon of olive oil/Refined oil. Fry your onions till golden brown and keep it separate. Cut the long bread in two equal halves and grill them too on the pan.
  5. Now, add the previously made cutlets and cook them till the cheese inside them starts melting and oozes out. Also, your cutlet should be nice golden brown. Add some oil if necessary. When you will do this, the cheese that we filled before inside these cutlets will melt and impart a nice creamy flavor.
  6. It’s the time for serving your dish! Grab a nice plate. Apply a layer of Mayonnaise on the bread. Then, keep a slice of the processed cheese slices/Cheddar cheese slices. Next, keep the fried cutlets, fresh tomato slices, capsicum slices, golden brown onions, some freshly chopped parsley, mint sauce and tamarind sauce. You are ready to eat.
  7. Happy Cooking! J
